Setting the tone for summer with a few of my favorite things reminiscent of the Amalfi Coast.

Positano, one of the most spectacular places to spend time during the summer months. Some say it's a bit too much and I think it's perfectly enough.

I am thrilled to have these new dinner plates in the shop and soon to be on my own table for al fresco dining this season. They are simple, yet cheery and just the right amount of chef's kiss. See the collection here.

My imagination goes wild with the sights and sounds and people and color and textures while I explore the cities along the Amlafi Coast, but there is something really special about visiting our favorite places in Positano year after year. When I'm home in my studio it's all I can think to paint, but honestly it's less of a thought and more of a feeling.

At the market, on the beach, aboard a boat, I am constantly toting around with some sort of bag or basket. I found these sustainably made market baskets and I can't stop using them for everything under the sun.  Find them here on the shop in natural and in black.

We are thrilled to welcome back our summer collection of candles this June to the store. Capri and Positano are two of my favorites, plus this year I am adding Secret Beach and Yacht Club to our client favorites, Mermaids of Newport and Oysters & Champagne.

Our fragrances this season are very limited edition so don't delay in reserving your order shipping late June. Order here.

Aperol is my favorite color by Michael J. Paddon

And who can resist an Aperol spritz on a glorious summer day. I know I can't. Here is this super easy crowd pleasing recipe.

Aperol Spritz
Feel free to substitute Aperol with Compari or Select
For a twist substitute Aperol with Compari and Club Soda with Gin

1 Part Aperol
1 Part Prosecco
Club Soda
Garnish with orange slice
Ice

Add ice to wine glass until it's full, fill about 1/3 of the glass with Aperol
Add about 1/3 of the glass Prosecco with a splash of club soda
Garnish with orange slice

Cheers, rinse, repeat
