Digest = me + a possible glass of wine + reflection on the previous weeks ongoings and a glimpse into future happenings. You're Welcome
This was a crazy weekend at the gallery! Thank you for everyone who came in and found art, picked up a momento to brighten your home and shared a word, story or just came in from the sun to absorb a little happy art on a perfect spring weekend.
If you're thinking about art and how two different pieces could work together in a room or even on the same wall, here's a quick guide to pairing art in the gallery now. It can be totally overwhelming to sort through pages and pages of pieces online, but I thought seeing my recommendations of art that works well together would be inspirational. If you think so too I'll share more of these ideas here - for now here's the link to see my picks for artwork that pairs well together.

I am overjoyed this evening as I've been cooking (and cocktail making) at home from this magnificent cookbook, Old World Italian by Mimi Thorisson. We have stocked in the gallery for some time now. I have been wanting to crack this book for a bit, but I thought it was appropriate to make Prampolinis and Cacio e Pepe and watch the new season of Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy. This is really my kind of Sunday night.

I have been finding inspiration in Simone Leigh's work, this documentary about Tony Hawk, Italian Chic - this book is like taking a trip through Italy as you flip through the pages, these colorful candlesticks in every color make me want to set the most festive table for upcoming springtime dinner parties! This market tote... can't decide on natural or black! Or if I should keep at home for firewood. I'm going to have another Prampolini and think about it. What's inspiring you?
Happy weekend from our family to yours!
XO Kristen

Composed while sipping a delicious Prampolini (get the recipe here from Mimi Thorisson) while listening to The Talented Mr. Ripley, and we are just getting to the part where Matt Damon is a full blown creep! It's too much!
