Image of my old car, Liz, at Moore Blooms, many moons ago
The Sunday Night Digest = me + a possible glass of wine + reflection on the previous weeks ongoings and a glimpse into happenings next week. You're Welcome
There is no such thing as time or days in July. Just sun and sparklers and the water. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Sundays are for new beginnings, gardening and long lazy days in the sun, yard and at the beach before meeting family around the dinner table. This picture was taken at Moore Blooms 6 or 7 or 8 years ago and although my cool old car is long gone, my summer Sundays on this island still look pretty much the same.
Last week I had the great opportunity to visit this tiny chapel, off the beaten path, and given new life by the work of Piotr Uklański and curated by Dodie Kazanjian. Lucky Newport. It felt really good to be in a space seeing art again in person. See Art & Newport before Labor Day to book your own viewing. Very worth it.
I guess this is what my Saturday nights look like these days. If you follow me on Instagram I occasionally post a photo here or there from my home, but not usually. This space is just asking to be shared though with the sun speckled table and overgrown plantings. How are you making it work this summer? Are you finding micro-entertaining at home seems to be the theme? It feels just right for me and I'm hopeful to do more of it when I can in the coming weeks while we still have this gorgeous weather.
Much love XO Kristen
