A note about shipping from Kristen:
In a conscious attempt to lessen our impact on the environment, we have made a concerted effort to ship art and objects from the gallery using recycled materials and post-consumer packaging when possible. 

A note about returns from Kristen:
In 2017 we saw the highest sales to date since being in business - thank you! This has been an amazing time in business and we look forward to continuing to offer the art and objects you have come to know my gallery to provide! And with increased volume in sales, we have recognized the same for the need of returns. Our policy for art on approval has always been a part of my business and will continue to remain an option for collectors and art novices alike, however, our return for art and objects on a whole has changed (see below as well as your digital sales receipt from in-store purchases and at the footer of the checkout page when shopping online - by shopping at either location you agree to these terms!). I wanted to add that large returns although sometimes unavoidable, hurt my business in a major way, but I think with a few updates as outlined below we will be able to negate unforeseeable returns. Thank you again, 2017 was genius and I look forward to all of the potential I know 2018 to have!

Returns
As of January 1, 2018: Returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase with the exception of art and will be issued store credit. Item must be in original, unused, unopened, salable condition. Art may be taken on loan for up to 3 days, client is responsible for all shipping and delivery and must have a credit card on file.

All art sales are final and non-refundable, non-transferrable and not applicable for store credit.

Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a store credit or exchange.

To be eligible for store credit, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

Gift cards
Memberships
Workshops
Subscriptions

To complete your return, please email hello@kristencoates.net for an RMA.

Store Credit (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your store credit.
If you are approved, then your store credit will be issued within a certain amount of days.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be returned for store credit, unfortunately sale items or discounted items cannot be returned for store credit.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at kristen_coates@me.com within 48 hours of receipt of the item.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return assuming the return is made within 7 days of receipt. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a store credit to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a store credit, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your store credit.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary and during the summer months or holiday season may experience delays due to high shopping traffic.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
