A BIG Thank you to The Bay Magazine for the beautiful feature as part of their cover story on Newport. Welcome back to print!! This is such a gorgeous free publication brimming with all things Rhode Island. Every time I flip through a new issue I learn something new about Little Rhody or business I must seek out or restaurant I must try! I feel lucky to be part of the Newport highlights.

In other news publications, gallery favorite, artist, Luke Brenner, is featured in an issue of Newport This Week with lots of sweet details about the father/surfer/bartender/painter. Read it all here. See some of Luke's new works here.

Earlier this month, the artists behind the Girls and Boys Club Newport exhibition at Hammetts Hotel were able to finally see their works on display in a micro celebration at the Sarah Langley Gallery. This was such a special collaboration and I encourage you to see it before it ends. The gallery is open to the public on the main floor of Hammetts Hotel.

For several weeks this summer I was subjected to self quarantine after some interstate family travel and instead of losing my marbles, I ventured out on Aquidneck Island in isolation and subsequently in a friend pod post quarantine, to take on some of the best ideas I had for entertainment acceptable during a pandemic. Follow along on this adventure here.

I can't even begin to tell you how upsetting the words of our president are to me about the United States Postal Service and mail-in voting. I hope that if you plan to vote by mail, you will take your mail-in ballot to your local election drop off. For Rhode Island voters, there is more information here. To see if you are registered to vote or request a mail-in ballot click here. And to support the USPS click here, especially if you love the free shipping feature at my store so many of you have taken advantage of over the years and has been made possible by the very reasonable rates at USPS.
And last, but certainly not least, the store is officially by appointment only and it has been a dream come true. This summer was a madhouse with the doors open freely and the last week has just been a much better energy with so many meaningful conversations and interactions. There are dozens of new pieces of art and objects - shop online and enjoy complimentary shipping with code FREESHIP or curbside pickup, or make an appointment to shop in person. It's all been amazing.
Happy weekend from our family to yours
Much love XO Kristen
