What an incredible summer we have had so far! The shop has been buzzing, I've been painting up a storm and I have so many projects moving forward with collaborators I cannot wait to share with you, but for now I am going to enjoy a bit of August in Newport along the coast, on the water and at the beach. 

The gallery is brimming with new work. I wish I were able to keep the online inventory in real time, but I have been behind for months! If you're thinking about a new piece and don't see what you need feel free to drop a note and say hi!

Since moving to The Point I have made it a real priority to learn the streets, meet our neighbors and take in some of the views I forgot existed living on Historic Hill. I do miss the convenience of being near my friends at Bellevue Wine & Spirits and A Market, but I'll take the tranquility of The Point area any day of the week!

Last week I was in NYC to see a favorite client for a project we are working on and managed to find time to meet up with my friend who also happens to be an art advisor. It was my first time gallery hopping since the pandemic and I love all the new spaces opening in Tribeca. If you follow me on Instagram you probably caught some of my stories, but this image above captures Ann Agee's solo exhibition at PPOW Gallery. It really was stunning to see and made me inspired to get home to my own studio!

Speaking of home, we are making progress on our house! We have a new roof and exterior paint and a front garden wall that our friends at Teaticket helped us design. The list of things to do next is longer than I care to think about this evening, but we are trying to enjoy the updates we have made so far!

And finally, thank you to everyone that came out to our Midsummer Soiree event. It was so lovely to see everyone, toast our friends and chat about all things summer, art and Newport. Can't wait for the next one!
