I met Loren right before she relocated her jewelry business headquarters to Newport. We opened our shops in the BE//ME (Bellevue and Memorial) neighborhood right around the same time and have been supportive to one another as business women and now as friends. This lady has the sweetest shop and a sense of humor that cracks me up when I feel like I am cracking up at work! ONE WHERE DO YOU LIVE AND WHAT IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO NEWPORT? 
I live in Narragansett, Rhode Island. We recently relocated our headquarters and opened our flagship store in Newport.

TWO WHAT ARE THREE THINGS YOU CANNOT TRAVEL WITHOUT? 
My own hairdryer (Harry Josh), bluetooth headphones, Blistex Lip Medex lip balm

THREE WHAT WAS YOUR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT THIS YEAR? 
Opening our store in Newport

FOUR TELL ME SOMETHING PEOPLE WOULD BE SURPRISED TO HEAR ABOUT YOU? 
I'm an introvert. My brand Loren Hope is very colorful and playful, lots of bold baubles perfect for parties. While I do enjoy dressing up socially I am pretty quiet.

FIVE WHAT IS IT THAT BRINGS YOU THE MOST INSPIRATION? 
Nature has the best shapes and color combinations.

SIX WHAT IS YOUR GO TO ITEM TO BRING TO A DINNER PARTY? 
A bottle of bubbly!

SEVEN WHAT'S THE PROJECT YOU ARE WORKING ON NOW THAT YOU ARE MOST EXCITED ABOUT?
I'm working on a new special collection of one of a kind pieces - similar to our Butterfly Series, but an entirely new genre.

EIGHT WHERE IS A PLACE YOU WANT TO VISIT BUT HAVEN'T? 
I want to visit India... I want to see the palaces, wander the spice markets and witness artisans block printing textiles. 

NINE WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PIECE OF CAREER ADVICE? 
Well I do love this quote from Elizabeth Taylor "It's not the having, it's the getting." As in don't do it for the money, do it because you love it.

TEN IS THERE SOMETHING YOU WANT TO PROMOTE? 
We recently finished our jeweled leopard mosaic that's now hanging in our store. It's one of the biggest projects I've ever taken on... I invite anyone to come by and see it in person!
