The Sunday Night Digest = me + a possible glass of wine + reflection on the previous weeks ongoings and a glimpse into happenings next week. You're Welcome.

We are all in this thing together.

Hope is a flower just about to bloom in spring.
Is anyone else having recollections of old memories? Deep thoughts of gratitude for a life we perhaps took for granted? I realized it about a week ago around day 15 of self quarantine at home. I was thinking about my sister and all the days we spent together with our mother on the beach and in the garden. I wonder if a lack of urgency in life has allowed for real life to reemerge in my mind. As an incredibly social person, this time alone (with Michael and Sofia) has been highly illuminating. Meditations, sleep and moments of reflection seem deeper. Prayers more meaningful. I have had long phone calls and conversations with people that used to be my closest friends and for some reason I haven't been able to find all that much time to reach out to over recent years. I have a deep urge to continue to find new ways to adapt to this new normal - virtual dinners and cocktails with friends, continuing to build online sales to keep my business evolving and afloat, reaching out to friends to check on them periodically and to be more present. We live in interesting times dear friends. I hope when the horror subsides we will all emerge more enlightened.
What will you take away from this when it is all over? Although life may never return to they way we once knew it, I do think we will get beyond this uncertain time and be better for it.

On a much lighter note, wow. The reaction to my most recent online auction and the subsequent online sales have been beyond my wildest dreams. Not solely from a financial standpoint, but of course that really helps when your main source of revenue has been shuttered for weeks on end with no light in sight of reopening any time soon, but from a state of mind perspective. The messages of hope and love, the encouragement and just the human interaction of it all has given me life! I will for sure do another one as soon as I can. In the meantime, most deliveries will go out by Wednesday of this week. In the event that does not happen you will get a message with further details.

I will be putting up a blog post this week on how I am managing my business during this time and tips on creating your own online auction. More to come soon.

Like most of you, I have been inspired to try new recipes in the kitchen. I posted about it this week along with a few links. I would love to hear about what you are making and how you're making it all work with limited supplies at grocery stores

Even Sofia is feeling a little stir crazy. Today when I looked for her in her normal napping spots, I found her in a pile of unfolded clean laundry (I cannot fold another piece of laundry or unload another dishwasher run this weekend and keep my sanity!). I am glad she is enjoying the fruits of my laziness. I hope you too are taking it easy at home.

Happy weekend from our family to yours
Much love XO Kristen

Composed listening to the rain outside and drinking a short glass of Califia Mocha Cold Brew Coffee (it was all that was left at the grocery store!) which is more like a chocolate rocket fuel almond-milkshake than coffee in my opinion!
