In my newsletter yesterday I wrote about the perfect way to create your own beach day setup and mentioned Grapes & Gourmet in Jamestown for one of the best places to get a cheeseboard for the beach. They also are delicious on the terrace as well as at home! I find a way to make my way to their shop any time I cross the Newport bridge. It's such a treat!

mid-afternoon Morari by Wendy Briggs Powell
It's such a wonderful feeling to get a package in the mail from Wendy Briggs Powell as I know we will have her watermarks up on the walls in the gallery soon after. These one of a kind original watercolors are made from archival paper saturated in dyed water. It's amazing that Wendy is able to capture the movement of water with her technique in a way you can't get with a brush or a palette knife. I am always awed at her pieces and the gentle sway of color and I think you will be too. There are just a couple left -
